COVID-19 UPDATE
Due to the current situation regarding the pandemic, La Casa Grande Bilingual Academy has prepared a specific policy that will be implemented to protect the students and staff against COVID-19. Please read this policy in its entirety.

Sign in/out procedures will be done on the outside front porch of the house.
You may text or activate the doorbell with motion when you are ready for your child to enter or leave.
Please respect social distancing and remain in your car if another family is doing drop-off or pick-up, until the other parent is
back in their vehicle.
Only one parent/adult will be permitted at drop-off and pick-up.
2. If parents wish or need to enter the house, they will need to wear a face mask and remove their shoes.
3. I will check every child’s temperature upon arrival every morning before entering the house. If a child has a temperature of 100*
or higher they will not be admitted that day.
4. Upon entering the building children will remove their shoes and wash their hands.
5. Children will not be required to wear face masks or coverings while attending class at La Casa Grande.
6. Children will not be permitted to bring any objects from home (backpacks, toys, water bottles etc.).
7. If child has been exposed to anyone with a positive test for COVID-19 they must stay at home for 14 days (two weeks) before they
can return to class. No refunds will be issued.
8. If a child exhibits symptoms and tests positive for COVID-19 and has attended school that week, La Casa Grande will close for two
weeks. No refunds will be issued and if this occurs on or near the date when tuition is due, tuition will still be collected.
9. Children will be excluded from attending for a period of 72 hours when showing ANY signs or symptoms of illness.
These include but are not exclusive to:

Fever over 100.4 degrees

Runny nose
-
Coughing
-
Sneezing
-
General malaise or sleepiness
-
Watery eyes
-
Rash
-
Headache
-
Stomach ache
-
Diarrhea
10. If the teacher of La Casa Grande exhibits symptoms and tests positive for COVID-19, La Casa Grande will close for two weeks. No
refunds will be issued and if this occurs on or near the date when tuition is due, tuition will still be collected.
Additionally, I ask that parents communicate with me the exact level of risk you are incurring through your actions and choices so that I am fully capable of responding accordingly. If anyone in your general office building, church or social group etc. is found to be positive, please let me know so that I can raise my level of concern. If anyone in the household travels to a known hot spot, has any travel via public transportation, or has any contact with visitors who have traveled to a hot spot I ask that I am notified.
